Edelman, one of the nation’s largest independent PR firms, doesn’t seem to understand the difference between PR and blogging. A few weeks ago, Richard Edelman, president and CEO of the firm that bears his name, was called on the carpet for the sudo-blog called “Wal-Marting Across America”. Well, it wasn’t a blog chronicling a man and woman traveling the country in their RV and staying in Wal-Mart parking lots. It was a well-orchestrated and sponsored cross country trip designed to look like a blog. See Business Week’s take on this.
