Second E-Commerce Golf Site Launches With Extensive Component Selection
1/24/06
On January 1, 2006, Apex Marketing Group launched its second e-commerce golf retail site exclusively for pro shops, clubmakers and garage builders. The site sells golf components, not assembled clubs. Clubbuilders and others that build their own golf clubs can sign up to become a member of the Clubbuilders.net family of builders and start saving 10% off their first order.
"We see ourselves as an alternative to the Golfsmiths and GolfWorks of the world. They only sell their own branded components. We sell everyone's. If you are looking for a component head similar to a popular club like the Taylor Made r7 Quad or the Callaway X-18s, we are likely to have 3-5 different heads to choose from," stated Bruce Stasch, Director of Sales for www.clubbuilders.net.
Stasch continued, "with a consolidation occurring to the major components sellers in the market, we feel that an alternative is needed that isn't trying to force a customer to buy a particular component head. In addition, we also carry most of the major branded shafts and grips from True Temper, Aldila, Accuflex, Golf Pride, Graffaloy, Paragon, Winn, Lamkin and others."
Look for Clubbuilders.net to continue to expand its offering during fiscal 2006 to become one of the largest online retailers on the Internet.
