Apex Upgrades Podcasting Studio
9/21/06
Apex Marketing Group, home to Golf Gear News the podcast on everything golf, has recently upgraded its studio.
"Although a company can use a simple microphone to create a podcast, Apex wanted to upgrade its production abilities as well as the final audio product so we invested in an Alesis Multimix mixing board, a Behringer B-1 Large-Diaphragm Studio Microphone in a suspension mount and an InLine Telephone Audio Interface for recording phone conversations," says Director of Sales Bruce Stasch. "We noticed an immediate upgrade in quality as well as a reduction in editing time. What we used to do in three hours takes no more than 90 minutes today."
For portable media, Apex Marketing Group has also added an Olympus Digital Voice Recorder and a Shure Dynamic Cardioid Microphone for recording "live" interviews on location.
Stasch continues, "We've been podcasting for a year, but felt we needed to learn the trade before we could confidently offer these services to our business customers. We can now go to a client's office, conduct an interview over the phone, or bring them into the studio. If its B-to-B communications that are being created to motivate, entertain, inform, educate, network and sell, our studio can handle it."
